I have been singing since the age of 10 when she first began performing at some of her father’s piano concerts. Graduating from both Lawrence University and Alverno College, she studied vocal performance, music education, and French. My favorite vocal genres include Broadway, Classical, Pop, Light Opera, and Jazz. Hello! My name is Kathryn and I am currently a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire studying Vocal Performance. I have been taking private voice lessons for 5 years of my own, and will be graduating this coming Fall 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. Shortly thereafter, I'm attending Graduate School to pursue a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance. I always figure out where a student is at, and prefer to grow off the student's strengths as opposed to harping on their weaknesses. I have been in lessons before where teachers couldn't get past the smallest details, and these ruined the experience for me, as well as greatly affected what I was able to accomplish in my lessons. The opposite is also true, in that I have had teachers that haven't even informed me of a weakness that I had, and I wasn't able to improve because of it. Read More
