For beginner students, it’s often a little difficult to be able to maneuver around the bass or guitar when you haven’t first held one before. So, it can be a bit tricky in the beginning to get your hands working the right way, and pacing yourself through the adaptation of your hand to the neck of either instrument is essential. I started teaching guitar 21 years ago when a friend of mine asked for some pointers. After working with him for a couple months, it became apparent to me that I was really enjoying sharing the techniques and tricks to more comfortable, relaxed playing.
