I like to find out why my students are interested in playing music. This helps me to create a lesson plan for each individual one. I like to start out teaching using Alfred's beginner books, and progress from there. Each student learns at a different pace, so I base my lessons off of their progress.  For beginning students, I teach with a method that would not "reinvent the wheel" learning notes on they instrument which makes sense to them easily. A,B,C, etc.. Hi! I am a full time middle school teacher based in Annapolis. I love working with children and families. In my free time, I teach, compose, and perform music in the Maryland/DC area.
