Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Through the years of being a performer, I've gained life experiences such as playing for the radio station back in my home state of texas as well as winning several talent shows with my original work. In recent years, I've gone to the University of Texas at SA, where I majored in Music Composition and minored in Music Production. Due to the outbreak of covid-19 many life changes have occurred and I had to put a pause on finishing my degree, but I continue to seek in teaching others what I've learned through my own accomplishments as a performing artist. My teaching experience starts when I was in high school. I taught private lessons as well as the lead instructor in our percussion class granted by the director. When I was in high school, I wrote to percussion scores for our marching shows. In my senior year, I was picked up by a musical touring group, and I was able to play drum set with professionals. I believe that one of the most important things a musician can do is to find and develop their own voice on their instrument. Listening to the greats like Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, Jimi Hendrix, and Chick Corea illustrate how a unique voice can manifest itself and make the music so much more powerful.
