I began teaching piano 4 years ago, I had not originally intended on teaching, but I had several people inquire about lessons, since they had seen me perform. I began to pick up more and more students, and I realized that I am actually very passionate about teaching, and sharing all of the knowledge that I acquired over the years. For beginning and young students, we always start with fundamental concepts - producing a good sound, developing a sense of rhythm and pulse, building music reading skills, and fostering good practice habits. Once these skills have been developed, we progess to working solo repertoire and ensemble music.
