I began teaching students in college, and have consistently taught students of all ages and experience levels. I love being able to help new students along their path to becoming the musician they want to be. I focus my lessons on the students musical interests and apply music theory and proper technique instruction to help them reach their goals. As someone who loves learning themselves, I also love passing knowledge on to new students and instilling a love of learning that will take them to the level of musicianship that they want to achieve. It is important to me that each student learns at their own pace when I teach. I dont want to force things upon students that they arent ready for, or dont want to do. Because of this, most of my curriculum is based around music of the students choosing, so they keep engaged and wanting to keep learning. Sometimes my schedule has been more focused on performance as I have done national tours and exstensive recording but I've always been passionate about teaching. I am a passionate instructor who believes that learning to speak this universal language is one of the best ways to bring communities and people together. I graduated from Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver June of 2019 and have been teaching privately for the past two years. Aside from teaching I perform at local venues around Denver with bands of all different genres.
