While I was at Berklee, I was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship and I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Guitar Performance. I was self taught at the age of 13. I accidently discovered I had musical interests when I found a broken guitar in the poor neighborhood where I grew up in. Since then, I participated in every guitar event I could find in highschool and College. In Highschool I was part of the Guitar club, performed during school lunches, went to musicals, and took the guitar classes as my elective.
