No, the student pays Musika for the lessons and Musika will pay your teacher. You never have to discuss billing with your teacher since we handle it completely.

Musika only accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We unfortunately do not accept check payments at this time, nor do we accept check payment by phone or cash. There are no exceptions.

No lessons are charged upfront, unless you prefer to do so. All charges are processed on the 14th of the month for the previous month's lessons. (For example, all lessons in August are billed September 14th) The same day your card is charged, we will e-mail you a sales receipt so you may view all the lesson dates entered and the amount charged.

Note: Package charge has been discontinued. Some existing students might be on package charge where charges are made to their debit or credit card for an eight (8) lesson package.

If for any reason you decide not to continue, the trial lesson will not be charged. If you do wish to continue with your teacher the trial lesson is considered your first official lesson and will be charged in full.

Musika is quite flexible for students younger than 18 because there is no commitment for a certain number of lessons. We understand how common it is for young students to pick up an instrument and quickly decide it's not for them. If this is the case, all we require is that you provide two lessons notice as a courtesy to your teacher, so he or she doesn't abruptly lose your child as a student.

Our registration page is extremely secure, using 128-bit Verisign encryption, the very same encryption used by Amazon.com and many other online merchants. Verisign uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you enter. If you are still uncomfortable with this, we'd be happy to take your information over the phone.

Your instructor submits a log of all the lessons given during the course of the month to Musika before billing occurs. No one in the office will ever make changes to the student's lesson log. To be sure all of the lesson entries are accurate before the 14th of the month, you can simply ask your teacher or contact the accounting department.

Don't worry, if there is an error in your bill, we will contact the instructor to confirm the inaccuracy and arrange the appropriate refund or credit to your account. It is our policy, however, that we speak to the instructor first.

Lessons cancelled without providing 24 hours notice are considered "same day cancellations". Same day cancellations by students will not be made up and will be charged in full. All cancellations of individual lessons must be made by calling your Musika teacher directly, not the Musika office.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.

Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
