My name is Hank, and I recently graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. My primary instrument is the piano, but I also play all string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar) as well as the trombone. I have always had a passion for teaching, and I was recently hired as the general music teacher at the International School at Gregory. I'm a classically trained violinist, with a Cajun Louisiana fiddling background. In the third grade, I began playing violin for orchestras in New Orleans, Louisiana and later had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the New Orleans Creative Center for the Arts. I am a multi-genre cellist who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential as musicians. I have been classically trained since the age of three, and studied classical theory and composition at Harvard University. However, towards the end of my college experience I began to learn jazz and blues and ended up pursuing a Master's degree in Contemporary Performance.
