Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I teach using the Suzuki method with emphasis on scales, proper technique, and individual music preferences. For beginning students, I begin with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements book. Once the student begins to grasp the understanding of reading music, I transition to teaching scales, and into the Suzuki books. More advanced students will be learning out of the Position Pieces books by Rick Mooney, Foundational Studies by Alwin Schroeder, as well as any other music that they are interested in. Read More

I first started teaching private music lessons in 2006, when I was in 11th grade in high school. Since then, I've had teaching studios ranging from 1 to 13 students (all while trying to get through school). I've taught lessons on piano, guitar, bass, and cello. Through my experience, I've learned that I do best teaching the bass and the cello. They are my best instruments, and therefore the only instruments I feel confident teaching to others. Read More
