Often they already have music that will work, to which I will add developemental studies of various sorts. My methods of teaching are based on where the students are at in there study of music. For beginners I like to teach them how to read music as they learn each note on their instruments. After that it really depends on what kind of music you want to learn, what you already know. Currently, I am a Master Teacher on the faculty of Magnolia Music Studio RiverWalk. I have also taught at The Ohio State University's Clarinet Academy, teaching private lessons, coaching student chamber ensembles, and presenting a lecture on reed break-in and adjustment.
