My methods very from student to student. If students have already started playing their instrument in school, I will work with them on the method book that they use in school. My teaching experience began while I was in college taking music education coursework and working as a music tutor for a local middle school band program. After graduating in 2013 I have taught more than 300 hours of private music lessons to students of all ages. I have also taught group music lessons, K-6 general music and choir for a homeschool music program in addition to music theory lessons. I love puzzling out how to relate to each student in the way that best helps them progress towards their musical goals! Read More

I have sang for many audiences however I have come to the conclusion that I can no longer do that since I am getting a lot older. Read More

From there I will assign the appropriate method book; typically from the Rubank series. Read More
