I have been a music educator in the public schools for over 40 years having taught in Austin, Texas and currently in Fort Worth, Texas. Many of my students have gone to play their instruments in college bands throughout the state. Several former students are currently teaching music at the secondary and college level. My teaching experience goes back to as soon as I finished high school. In my time at TJC I was a section leader tasked with leading rehearsals and lessons for the saxophone section. At this time I also taught as a marching band technician during the summer time for schools preparing to go to marching contests. At point I was also a substitute teacher for TISD.
