Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. The best thing about teaching is when my students get frustrated at some concept or technique and I am able to show them a simple and easy solution to the problem. This usually lights up my student's faces and helps them get better not only at their instruments, but also at problem solving. I truly enjoy the process of taking a student from where they are with their technique and knowledge to where they want to be and beyond. I began playing the drums in local rock bands while in Jr. High School and High School in Miami, Fl. (1965-71). My friends father was a professional guitar player and teacher. He got me started with musicians that played gigs all over South Florida. Over the years I continued to develop a vast knowledge of various styles which kept me busy as a working drummer. My roots in rock ,jazz and blues also continued to be exemplified when performing at colleges and opening for national bands. Read More
