Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I love teaching so I want my students to have the same love for learning. I convey this to the student by only giving the student what they can handle. I keep it challenging but also fun. I do this by letting the student choose their own music. I always add something fun into each lesson which keeps each student interested. He has played for many bands including rock, jazz, heavy metal, country, contemporary Christian, and African. Andy has recorded records for various bands and three independent film soundtracks in addition to playing for our troops on a USO tour. At California State University, Northridge (CSUN), Andy studied classical and world percussion. He was a member of the Wind Symphony, the Symphony Orchestra, and was appointed section leader of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Read More

I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I began teaching privately in 1985 on the Lubbock ISD Music Tutorial Program. I went into the schools and taught students privately during class hours. I taught Tuba and Baritone Horn. In 1989 I began teaching with Lubbock Parks and Recreation in the community centers. This was more generalized. I taught Band Instruments, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory, Beginner Piano, Beginner Strings. What I consider to be my crown achievement is hearing from parents who told me that the overall academic performance of their children had improved since they began taking lessons from me. Read More

Patience is the key. For the teacher and the student. There's no need to get upset or angry. Music isn't hard, bricks are. Music just takes time. If there's a section of the music that's challenging, I like to take it in chunks. By focussing on the first couple bars and once that's clean, we can look at the next couple bars.
