Welcome New Students! My name is Ivan and I love music. I believe I was meant to serve others through music. I was fortunate to graduate with honors from Berklee College of Music. I've performed in multiple stages in North America with both established and indie artists. My all time instrument has been the drumset but in the last 5 or so years have worked on learning and mastering guitar. I've recorded both at commercial recording studios as well as at my own home recording studio. Read More

For my teaching style, I always do my best to encourage. I love the technical side of music. I can never get enough of it. Instruments: Guitar, Voice, Drums, Bass Guitar, Double Bass, Euphonium

Music in the school system is taught backwards. If you're a beginner, you were put in a beginning class. this makes it very difficult for students to advance quickly because they aren't playing music with people who are more advanced than them. I make sure the students have the ability to play the instrument before they learn a ton of theory, because knowing how the wrritten form of music work without being able to play them is recipe for frustration. Zachary K

Instruments: Drums, Mallet Percussion, Orchestral Percussion

For me nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student smile while they are playing their instrument. Therefore it is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I do this by setting goals for the current lesson as well as goals for their next lesson. I believe that acknowledging the students accomplishments only makes the students want to progress further on their instrument. My number one rule when doing anything is have fun and I teach with the mind set that my students will have fun playing their instruments. Read More

Jeremy W

Instruments: Piano, Trumpet, Drums, Keyboard

I prefer low stress, casual, and sometimes jovial - but engaging - lessons. All students are different, and players progress through their musical journey at different paces. So while I want to be a steady guide that motivates them, I also engage and interact with students in ways that fit them best. My teaching style centers around learning the student. I focus on the big picture. What can we do now that will make the most significant impact on the player's trajectory? Read More
