Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I have been teaching private lessons for about 15 years, as well as camps and workshops. I have served as a clinician and instructor at Drumline camps and with Orchestra. I created the Percussive Arts Institute of Ruston to bring music education to an underserved community and taught around 100 students in an after-school program. Most of my students study the fundamentals of piano and voice, and then Branch into either percussion, guitar, strings, or brass, as they develop their interests. Read More

Once the student's level is known (beginners-advance, children-adults), not just playing and or singing ability, but their knowledge of theory, the names of the lines and spaces, the value of notes and rests, the names of the major clefs (treble and bass), etc., then we will better know what method books to engage a student in.
