I'm currently wrting a percussion book for kids.I'm a devoted musician who loves to teach, taking pride in all of the personal relationships I've garnished from my fruitful career! It all began when I started playing drums at a young age in my father's music store here in Virginia. Since then, I've traveled the country gigging, touring, and recording with bands such as, "Blue Meridian", and "Vishuda". First of all, I am someone who took formal private lessons for drums and flute from 5th grade all the way through college. I have been at School of Rock for about a year, where I am responsible for many individual as well as group lessons. I have taught a wide variety of ages ranging from 5-23, and I am extremely open to adult lessons. I began my teaching journey at my local church and later expanded to formal private lessons at home. One of the key challenges I faced was teaching piano to children as young as five years old. However, seeing how quickly they could assimilate music at such an early age has been incredibly rewarding. My teaching experience started when I first graduated High School. I started teaching competitive marching drumlines at the age of 17 and have continued to do so to this day.
