Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. The material and methods will be based on a student's skill-level and musical goals and interests. For orchestral band students, this would include basic technique, music reading, and repertoire. For teaching jazz I often use John Riley's "The Art of Bop Drumming" series as a source of practice material. For grasping the feel of various music styles, I will often listen to recordings with a student, and help them figure out what the drummer or percussionist is doing, and how to play it. Read More

I am a professional drummer and percussionist residing in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I grew up in northern New Jersey and studied in New York City with well-respected educator Sam Ulano. I went on to attend Rowan University and studied percussion with Dean Witten (Frank Sinatra). During that period, I also studied vibes with Dave Samuels (Spyrogyra).
