I am a drummer and percussion teacher who loves what he does. It is important for people to know that I believe students can learn in a variety of ways: From a book, by ear and by gaining experience as a performer in various venues. I love to teach all ages of students. I graduated in 1997 with an associates degree that focused on music theory and music history. He is committed to the development of the conga drum, breaking down traditional percussion barriers to perform traditional latin rhythms, jazz, jungle, funk and hip-hop whilst retaining his distinctly latin roots.As a live and session performer, he played with various international artists including Willie Colón, Eugenia León, Oswaldo Ayala, Elizabeth Mesa (Judge of Latin American Idol), Paquito D'Rivera (multiple Grammy Award-winner), Enrique Nery, and more.His musical journey is a personal quest to explore and create new sounds and rhythmic fusions.
