For my singers, I go by the music I have currently in my library that fits their voice type and genre and then move on. If they are percussionists I want an idea of where they are and what they are looking to accomplish. I have a variety of reps and books to use for them. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time and have been teaching since. Today I am a music teacher at David Posnack Jewish Day School and the drum instructor at Piper High School. Since becoming the drum instructor at Piper High School we have received superior ratings four years in a row.
