I began my classical training at the age of nine and continued my studies in jazz and world music with a focus on percussion and vibraphone. I have toured and recorded in the US and Europe with many artists in various musical styles. I graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a degree in music. I focus a lot on the technical aspects of musicianship because I believe everyone has their own feeling that they bring to music and I want to give my students the tools to be able to express themselves in their own musical way.
