Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, its important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress and this makes students eager to learn more. I studied piano at the Dallas, Texas School of Music. I have played piano for 20 years and guitar for 15. I also attended the James Madison University music program. After college, I moved to San Diego and founded the band Inside Switch. We have released 2 albums to date. There is not a one-size fits all teaching method for beginners, or any playing level for that matter. Every student had different goals for what they want to play or what they want out of music in general. I have taught for over twenty years to all ages and levels. I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. I've taught all genres and also teach special needs including autistic, handicapped, and blind. As well I've also taught a couple grammy winning musicians.
