I am a drummer and percussion teacher who loves what he does. It is important for people to know that I believe students can learn in a variety of ways: From a book, by ear and by gaining experience as a performer in various venues. I love to teach all ages of students. I graduated in 1997 with an associates degree that focused on music theory and music history. I have been performing since the age of 10 (which means I have been doing this for almost 30 years now and I try to bring all of those experience, as well as my long teaching experience to the table. The four basic ways to divide the pulse and how they are notated. Third, 3 way co-ordination. Use of one foot and hands together.
