I am very passionate about music. I love to teach and pass along what i know so that others can continue to create music for profit and personal enjoyment. I am a very low pressure teacher. If you are not enjoying your time then no one is benefiting from the lessons. I use a marker board, books, a metronome, paper and pencils etc to tech lessons. I do not send home "homework" but i will assign practice exercises for students to do between classes and will check on the progress and results when we meet for our next lesson. Read More

Learning how to hold the sticks and working with different sticking exercises followed by a simple and fun approach to learning rudiments I have a couple of snare drum method books I like to use. We will and can do any or all of the following: Drums : pad rudiments , playing position training , speed and technique Drumset : rock folk and blues style drumming, some swing/jazz and funk and such. Handdrums: ocasionally i may bring over handdrums for a 15 minute session on how to play them!
