Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. The most important thing to do as a teacher is find the right balance between fun and learning. When I teach, I make sure that students are enjoying their time in the lessons, because music is supposed to be fun, not a chore. I use a variety of books, tailored to the student based on my initial viewing of their abilities and what they are interested in learning. I also create my own lesson plans using exercises and music I have written myself. No two lesson plans will be the same as everyone learns differently and has different strengths and weaknesses. I began taking piano lessons at age 4 and started concert percussion in 5th grade. I knew I wanted to teach music when I was a freshman in high school, when I first fell in love with marching band. Music has been the area in my life I have excelled and God has given me talents of connecting with children and people to share my passion for music with them.
