My style is very personal and decorated around the specific goals of the student. I utilize several lesson books that I have already purchased, however I also create pertinent lesson plans personally. Some are created right on the spot as we are in the lesson itself. I find that this gives the student a more specifically specialized guide for their direct needs surrounding any subject matter. Whether my new students are children or not, I will usually start from the basics and work our way up from there. With children, I will stretch the basic lessons further until they have a solid foundation to build on. I write out every single lesson plan by the date and have each student do the same so that we do not lose track of where we are. It will actually be my first experience at teaching. I'm glad to have chosen Musika for this new experience and can't wait to teach new students what I learnt from my own teachers. I want to transmit my knowledge in drums the best I could and make it fun for everybody. I will make the lesson about the student and what he/she likes and go from there. It's important for me as a teacher to relate to the student on a personal level, so that I understand what the student wants to do and the direction and path they'd like to take.
