One of the things that puts a smile on my face is seeing one of my students develop a passion for music as well as a passion for learning. Therefore, its important that each student progresses at their own pace. I try to encourage this by setting realistic and attainable goals for my students at every lesson. Every student learns differently, so by finding out what inspires my student, I am able to create individiualized lesson plans that cater to my student's needs without losing focus on the fundamentals of music. I am a dedicated music teacher based in southern California who loves spreading my love for music with other students.  I graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance with an outside area study of jazz improvisation.  I've been fortunate enough to tour the country including a performance in Carnegie Hall in New York city.  I currently play and write music with multiple groups as a percussionist, drummer, vibraphonist, and steel drummer in the Indianapolis area.
