I have a four-fold method system for teaching the flute based on tone, scales, etudes, and solo and orchestral repertoire. From the start I see the importance at learning and accomplishing the goal of learning a solo piece. Whether that is an absolutely beginning learning simple tunes, to collegiate level exam pieces. I take influence from many famous flute pedagogues including Moyse, Trevor Wye, Altes, and many others.
