Perhaps they only want to learn a particular piece that they are playing for Solo and Ensemble Contest. I have been studying all aspects of flute culture since I discovered my father's old flute in a box when I was 7. I fell in love the first time I heard him play, and knew then that I would grow up to study music and perform. I began formal instruction in school at the age of 10, and quickly earned the top place in my beginners class.
