My musical experience begins 18 years ago, I began to play in a symphony orchestra. I was also part of different bands and groups where the instruments I focused on were always flutes. With the experience that I gained, I began to teach beginner flute players, always taking keeping in mid that practice makes the master. As a musician myself, I enjoy the cooperative element of music so I readily have an instrument around that I can play along with the student to help further innate musicianship for all skill levels of instrumentalists. For beginners I enjoy using Standards of Excellence from Kjos publishing or Sound Innovations from Alfred publishing and custom tailor exercises to fit the strengths and challenges of every student I teach. I started studying music at a very early age. When I was four years old, I started taking organ lessons, followed by piano when I was 7 years old. During elementary school, I started playing the clarinet. In middle school, I started playing the oboe. During high school, I learned the english horn and alto saxophone.
