Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My musical experience begins 18 years ago, I began to play in a symphony orchestra. I was also part of different bands and groups where the instruments I focused on were always flutes. With the experience that I gained, I began to teach beginner flute players, always taking keeping in mid that practice makes the master. I went to West Virginia University for my Bachelors in Music Industry. As a musician myself, I enjoy the cooperative element of music so I readily have an instrument around that I can play along with the student to help further innate musicianship for all skill levels of instrumentalists. For beginners I enjoy using Standards of Excellence from Kjos publishing or Sound Innovations from Alfred publishing and custom tailor exercises to fit the strengths and challenges of every student I teach. As the students progress, I can introduce solo exercises that fit the skill level of the musician and help to guide the students through the multi-faceted world of music. Read More

I started studying music at a very early age. When I was four years old, I started taking organ lessons, followed by piano when I was 7 years old. During elementary school, I started playing the clarinet. In middle school, I started playing the oboe. During high school, I learned the english horn and alto saxophone.
