I am an avid music lover, performer, and teacher. I was lucky to study piano from a young age and have the amazing pre-collegiate experiences of appearing on MTV's Made and opening for the likes of McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, and Bela Fleck. I then received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where I studied saxophone performance as well as piano, songwriting, and audio production. I certainly have adopted the teaching styles of my previous and current instructors, each bringing a unique approach to teaching an instrument. Patience and understand is crucial with any students, and there needs to be a lot of fun and excitement within a lesson, otherwise, what is the point? Now, fun and excitement must also be met with serious practice time and great concentration during a lesson.
