I have played guitar myself for about 15 years, the last five or so professionally. I teach each student different. Depending on the students level, pace , knowledge, strength, abilities , determination and goals. All students will have a understanding of scales, rhythm, chords and progressions . Each one of these will breakdown to their own sub-groups. With them expanding as the student progresses . I feel these curriculums offer a great foundational approach, are well rounded, sequential, and motivating for students. When teaching beginning adults, I teach the basics, always keeping their goal and interests in mind.
