Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I tailor my curriculum to each student based on their learning style, skill level, interests, and goals. If the student is a beginner, we will start with fundamentals. I then create more rewarding lessons as soon as possible, working in the fundamentals in a more enjoyable and musical way. I believe private lessons are a great way for some students just to get "a little more time playing their instrument", but under some great guidance! I also believe for other students who are serious about what they are trying to do, it can make the difference between parents paying college tuition or my student receiving that money through a scholarship. I have been teaching since around 2011, after only have been playing guitar for 2 years. I learned very quickly , primarily playing metal and jazz. I played trumpet in band when I was a child, so this helped me learn to sight-read music on guitar. This allowed me to play in the university bands at both schools I attended, mainly playing jazz music. Teaching has spawned a fiery passion that I want to explore and encourage, eventually making it to the University level teaching classes and private lessons. Read More
