I'm a freelance musician, transcriptionist and composer located in Nashville. Music is constantly present in my life. I love exploring new music and exploring new avenues to be creative in music. I graduated from Belmont University in 2014. Previous to living in Nashville, I lived in Wisconsin for 18 years. While I was there I played in a symphonic metal band called Warseid. Although my methods vary a bit depending on the instrument, the general plan is the same. For beginner students of instruments I focus first on fundamentals, such as finger placement, note names, what makes up chords so forth (again with a high emphasis on practice). I will gladly print out hard copies of chord sheets, note names, songs with chord markers if desired, or can display these digitally! I am is a singer, songwriter and guitarist based out of Nashville, TN. Although firmly rooted in bluegrass and classic country, my music incorporates elements from all facets of American roots music drawing inspiration from jazz, blues, rockabilly and old-time. I lead my own country band which plays original music as well as the music of my honky-tonk heroes such as Merle Haggard, George Jones and Gram Parsons.
