I live for the "AHA!" moments from my students. There comes a point in every students musical journey where it all snaps together like a puzzle and a new piece of the picture can be seen. After graduating from there in 2005, I moved to Nashville, TN and began touring the country with local artists. Most of my touring days were as lead guitarist, although sometimes I did take on a more rhythm & acoustic role. I am a Classical trained Pianist with 14 years British Classical training in Piano, that got involved in performing modern day music. As a result I understand playing on stage as well as doing music studio work. I have performed and toured professionally around the world playing keyboard, percussion and guitar. Although my methods vary a bit depending on the instrument, the general plan is the same. For beginner students of instruments I focus first on fundamentals, such as finger placement, note names, what makes up chords so forth (again with a high emphasis on practice). I will gladly print out hard copies of chord sheets, note names, songs with chord markers if desired, or can display these digitally!
