My method of teaching involves a musically comprehensive approach. Through practice in rhythm, harmony, melody, theory and ear training, my players become well rounded musicians. The goal is to be able to have an intelligent musical conversation with your instrument, and to know how to play whatever you want to play. I love working with students of all ages! In 2018, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Charleston Southern University and have been teaching ever since. I grew up traveling with my older siblings who are all musicians, and we would perform all over for concerts, weddings, social events, churches, and more. After grade school, I went to Northwestern State University to study Music Performance on a Violin Scholarship. Eventually, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's in International Marketing. I also took some guitar courses at Berklee Online. I've been touring professionally for 11 years and have been to all 50 states as well as 9 foreign countries.
