I taught myself guitar at the age of 13, and at the age of 23 I moved to Austin to become a professional musician. I finally graduated with a degree from University of Texas Pan American (now 'UTRGV'). Shortly after my graduation I became a fully certified public school music teacher for k thru 12th grade. And throughout my college & teaching years until now I have played with various bands as well as solo projects.
