My lessons will typically begin with a series of questions. Basically, what is the goal of the student. Whether it is to just relax at home after work, or school or perform solo piano at a coffee shop, or learn songs off of the internet or a method book of their preference, I encourage students to be patient, diligent and to never ever skip a day of practice. I am passionate about music and I play at least 7 instruments. I love alot of international music styles as well as American styles (soft rock, rock, hard rock, progressive metal, hip hop reggae, etc.). My music degree is from Auburn University Montgomery and I have done live performances within a band, ensemble, and on my own. I have been involved in music my entire life, starting in a percussion group and choir in elementary school. I started on the clarinet at the beginning of middle school. I taught myself how to play the clarinet amongst the other instruments I play with the help and guidance of college professors, band directors, and tricks I noticed along the way.
