Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I always approach education as an experience that sharpens the skills of both the student and the teacher. I create lesson plans based on the interests of the student, and set goals along a timeline that tracks progress. I prefer to allow the students to think through their questions, guiding them to discover the answers for themselves. This establishes a toolset that the students can use to navigate the challenges they face when advancing with a new instrument, in addition to the core concepts learned over the course of individual lessons. Instruments: Piano, Voice, Music, Keyboard
For beginner students, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the students starts to understand the fundamentals, I begin to incorporate elements of beginner music theory. I do this because it allows the student to take to fundamentals and gives them the tools to get creative with the knowledge that they already have. Once we have this, I begin to incorporate solo repertoire while we refine our music theory skills. Read More
Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Music, Keyboard, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning an instrument. I utilize a variety of different methods for the variety of instruments I teach (guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, voice). I like to meet with my students and get an idea of the pace in which the learn and how much effort they want to put in. Along with working on music the student wants to learn, I have a wide variety of books as well as my own handouts prepared for my students. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Music
I like to make things fun and cater to each student's abilities and needs. I like to work from books with beginning students because music literacy is very important to me. As students develop, I begin ear training and diving deeper into music theory when necessary. I think in order to grow as a musician you need to play music that inspires you and I aim to have all students wanting to practice because they are excited about their repertoire. Read More
Instruments: Piano, Drums, Synthesizer, Mallet Percussion, Orchestral Percussion, Conga, Latin Percussion, Music, Keyboard
I love to see progress and excitement in my students. This shows that I am doing my job as a teacher! I always have a plan for the start and end of each lesson where we will discuss what we'll be doing during the lesson and then discuss what is to be practiced for the next lesson. I try to make lessons as fun as possible so I incorporate some games to make practice more exciting. Read More
