My primary goal is to make sure students are having fun and enjoying themselves during lessons. I have a laid-back disposition. My teaching experience began in high school, where I mentored the younger musicians and acted as a role model to them. In college, I began teaching private lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, as well as leading advanced ensembles made up of college-level musicians. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in Cincinnati for the last 2 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument.
