Hello to all yet again, Well, in this section I will share my teaching methods. I grew up taking formal lessons from adults who did not "candy coat" anything. Times were different and there was no "political correctness" or "everyone got a trophy just for participating " ideology. Things were strict. You had to "make the grade". For me it was what was needed to be able to reach where I did as explained in the 2 previous sections. Read More

My experience as a teacher started when I was in high school, giving private lessons to local middle school and elementary school students. Ive continued giving private lessons as well as masterclasses, sectional work, and marching band coaching throughout college. Teaching is as much of a calling for me as is playing the trumpet. When I was a kid, I always had music in my head. I got a guitar from a friend in high school and played it nonstop. Somewhere along the way, it just became obvious to me that I would keep at it my whole life. Read More
