I approach teaching in a universal way before specializing on a student's particular interest within music. I try to provide students with a road map so they can determine where they want to go musically. I do this by introducing various styles and techniques that they may not have heard before. I love working with students of all ages! In 2018, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Charleston Southern University and have been teaching ever since. I grew up traveling with my older siblings who are all musicians, and we would perform all over for concerts, weddings, social events, churches, and more. I have over 15 years experience teaching guitar lessons. Currently, I teach guitar and music on Outschool.com I have also taught beginner piano / keyboard and flute. I'm a licensed teacher that enjoys sharing my passion for music. In December 2016, I graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education. Performing as part of Cedar Creek Community Band, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra Pit has given me a variety of experiences to inform my teaching.
