Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

From there, we can build upon these foundations and explore more advanced concepts and techniques. I believe it is important to not only teach the technical aspect of drumming, but also the musicality and artistry that go into creating drum beats and rhythms. I encourage my students to listen to a wide range of music and try to incorporate different styles and influences into their playing. I encourage my students to improvise as well. For intermediate and advanced students, I address the technical needs of each student and teach the standard repertoire in the piano literature and any specific repertoire they wish to learn. Focus is geared toward bringing out nuances and improving musicianship and artistry. Piano is for anyone who wants to learn and its never too late to start! Lessons are available for either 45 or 60 minutes. 30 minute lessons are available only for young beginners under the age of 10. Read More

That’s the special part of learning an instrument or singing, especially singing is physical, because we cannot see or touch our voice as instrument. I always encourage my students to develop their passion. The first student I ever taught piano to was with grandmother when I was six years old. Since then, I have built a resume containing pedagogy, collaboration, and performing experience. I taught theory privately in Chicago, IL before moving to New York. I have been an assistant director for several youth musicals, and have found these productions to be some of the most educationally rewarding.
