In the past 14 years, I have taught every level of music education from age 1 to 22, and I have experienced teaching in many different scenarios including preschool music time, elementary chorus and general music, indoor percussion, and concert, wind, and marching bands. My I love to see and hear my students make strides in a positive direction through practicing their music, and with my help, enjoying every moment of it! I sung in the church and at other events throughout my childhood and then graduated high school and went to the University of Mount Olive College, During that time I worked with choirs and with voice students. I graduated from Northwestern University in 2020 with a Master's of Music and hold a Bachelor's of Music from Boston University. I've performed internationally as a member of multiple ensembles and as a soloist and am a strong advocate for the use of saxophone in a variety of settings as well as the expansion of contemporary music.
