I began teaching music in high school when I worked as an teacher's assistant during group piano classes. I started teaching private cello and piano lessons shortly thereafter and continued to do so through college. After graduation, teaching music truly became my passion. I've worked extensively with private students of all ages. I taught private lessons, group classes, and sectionals to students through several different school orchestra programs. I received my Bachelor's in Music Education from West Texas AM University in 2015 and my Masters in Percussion Performance from Texas Tech University in 2017. Throughout school, I was fortunate to have had opportunities to perform with various ensembles at the statewide and national levels. These experiences I was able to bring to hone my own skills to perform and teach at a high level. I have been surrounded by music my entire life. My mother was a concert pianist and opera singer for many years, so I grew up attending rehearsals and experiencing music at its finest. I began my piano studies at age 2 and began playing the cello at age 14.
