I teach from 4 years old to adults, novice to advanced levels. My lessons are totally personalized to meet each student's desire, needs and capability. The pace of the lessons should be adjusted for each student. I review and access each student's understanding and progress in each lesson, and design a personalized assignment and lesson plan for the next lesson. I have been teaching for 12 years. I have primarily taught guitar and piano. My students have ranged from ages 6 to Adult. I am also a performing musician and regularly perform. I have known I have wanted to be a music teacher since I was 14. I had many great mentors through music and I hope I can provide the same for my students! Voice in particular is a difficult thing to learn, since the mechanisms are internal and difficult to see as well as hard to control directly. I've been teaching music for more than 12 years now. I can honestly say that I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of music. Not everyone can say that they truly enjoy their job so I feel blessed. I have taught hundreds of students ranging from ages 4 to 80! I have taught individuals, groups or online lessons.
