I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General/Choral Music Education with a Specification in Voice. In my career I have taught elementary, middle and high school general music, choir and musical theatre. I have studied at Oberlin Conservatory and Rutgers State University and studied with some of the best teachers. I studied jazz trumpet for my bachelor's and Masters degrees. I moved to NYC in 2009 and have performed with artists such as Roy Hargrove, Kim Burrell, Geri Allen and Wallace Toney. I taught at the community outreach program at Rutgers State University and have been a teacher with Musika for 10 years. I'm a dedicated and passionate teacher that loves hard work and sharing the love of music. I studied music performance at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Since my studies, I've performed all over the world in a variety of styles and genres. I've had the opportunity to have worked with titans of music, such as Omar Hakim, Mino Cinelu, and many others. I've performed at numerous festivals, both international and abroad such as the Zadymka Jazz Festival in Poland, Dinos Festival in Hungary, X Jazz Festival in Germany, and the Blue Note in China.
