I'm originally from Venezuela and I moved to the USA to continue my music studies at Louisiana State University where I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cello Performance. I have been teaching cello both in Venezuela and in the United States. I currently work as a cello teacher at Palacios House of Arts, in Baton Rouge. I began taking guitar lessons at the age of thirteen and continued for about two years before teaching myself the rest. My styes of playing range from folk-style fingerpicking (see video) to rock 'n roll, blues jazz, and Broadway. I began teaching private music lessons while in High School. In high school I began working with my church's worship team, first as a percussionist, then as an acoustic guitarist. I began training in basic music theory at this time as well.
