Hello, my name is Christian and I love teaching music to students and being apart of learning. in may of 2020, I will have graduated from Lincoln College with a Bachelors in Contemporary Jazz Studies. I have performed all through-out the Lincoln and Logan county with great experience as a band leader, composer, and private instructor while still maintaining a GPA of 4.0. I am a guitarist in the southern Colorado area who loves teaching and performing music. I have played as a guitarist in almost every scenario you can imagine, which helps me to work with musicians from almost any walk of life. I have accompanied choirs, performed with orchestras, played for stage productions and musicals, improvised jazz in coffee shops, played solos in jazz bands, got loud with cover bands, reproduced renaissance music for a Shakespeare festival, performed classical guitar in an art museum and a transportation museum, sung and played at weddings, and the list goes on! I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 1992, I graduated from Mercyhurst University, The D'Angelos School of Music in Erie, PA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I am currently producing music for television and films. I'm also active in the local community with duo performances with my 12-year-old singer/songwriter daughter Meghan. Tommy has been teaching since 2017. He has taught in both one-on-one and group lessons for students of all ages. Tommy has taught flute, clarinet, saxophone, and theory lessons to both beginning students and at the collegiate level. Tommy also performs with many different ensembles across a wide variety of genres. Tommy is 3rd/Bass Clarinetist for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, runs the Delicious Bass Bass Clarinet Choir, runs the Elite Four Jazz Band, and is a reoccurring performer with the Oswego Chamber Musicians.
