Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have been teaching for 20 years, with my own business for 10 years. My teaching style is very student centered. This allows me to focus on their unique abilities and interests while building a solid musical foundation. Individualized teaching is my passion. I adapt my teaching style to each students' learning style and then teach them how to express themselves individually through music. I still use traditional methods to build good technique and practice habits, but allow my students to bring their own interests' into our lessons. Read More

I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and I enjoy teaching all ages. Besides guitar (electric, acoustic, nylon string), I also teach electric bass, music fundamentals, music composition, improvisation, songwriting, and much more. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with an Etude and music theory based curriculum. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. To me there is nothing is more satisfying than seeing my students develop a passion for music! While playing music itself is quite enjoyable, it is absolutely essential that each student progresses at their own pace. In Middle school, I began tutoring classmates in mathematics and realized the importance of making the intangible, accessible and that not everyone will innately use the same approach, method, process or visualization to arrive at the solution. In High school I tutored German and Casteon, and it became obvious that "How" we hear is extremely important to "what" we hear, and, are able to replicate.
