I have been teaching private lessons since I began pursuing my degree! I have taught ages ranging from beginning band (5th 6th grade) all the way to late high school (juniors and seniors). I am well versed in all brass instruments and have been playing for almost ten years. My methodology is somewhat rare, in that I don't have a standardized set of books or resources that I require. I typically focus on fundamentals of musicianship -scales, chords, etc.- as a main focus. as for repertoire, I tend to gravitate to the great American song book/ other Jazz Standards. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2005 I graduated from The Players School of Music.
