For beginner students, I will teach them the fundamentals of music theory followed by chords every player should know. During this time, students will learn how to handle, maintain, and tune their instrument as well as play both finger-style and with a plectrum (pick) depending on the song. I have been teaching for the last 14 years for other music schools as well as my home studio. I love to help new students from the ages of  4-99  in learning the joys of playing an instrument or instruments that they are going to enjoy. My work is to honor that space and demonstrate that making music is an option for anyone who wants it, regardless of any perceived “barriers” in place.
